Hello! My name is Dave Yates. I am a forty three year old married father of two boys (9 and 7 years old) living in Yorkville, IL (west suburb of Chicago). I have been living with Dense Deposit Disease/C3G since at least 2009.
At the time of my diagnosis there was very little known about C3G/DDD. It is exciting we now have a platform designated to all affected by C3G. I look forward to learn about others' stories. To learn about new treatment opportunities. And to connect with others who share this rare disease.

Hi Dave, thanks so much for your post- it's great to have you on the site as an ambassador. I know that everyone will benefit from hearing more about your life with C3G.
I just listened to the August 2017 webinar and heard your story. My husband is 42 and we have 2 boys 9 and 12. So your story is very familiar. They both played football and baseball last year, and he just wasn't feeling well enough to practice with them like he wanted. It has been hard on his emotions. Thank you for relaying your story. My husband had testicular cancer in 2011 when boys were 3 and 5. So going through a sickness again seems cruel. Praying for a cure and not just treating symptoms!
