For parents whose child with BWS had hypoglycemia - how long did it last? If it lasted for more than 2 weeks, how was it treated?

My daughter had severe hypos when she was born. She has Hyperinsulism and it did not correct. She ended up in having a pancretectomy at 11weeks. This is very rare though.

She is now four, and still on medication to control her sugars. They are really stable now though and we are hopefully going to trial her coming off the medication at some point this year!

Livvy had it quite bad. Transferred to gosh aged 6 weeks as our local couldn't deal with it. She was put on medication and regular feeds And blood sugars tested before each feed. Aged 2 she was admitted to hossie for a fasting test off the medication, she did well and had no hypos so now off the mess :)
