Hi my baby has bws and is 5,week old.he is strugeling feeding from bottle.does enyone recomend eny certian products,tips or info please .thnks

Hi Emma, there's Facebook groups that are very active one is Beckwith-Wiedemann Wiedemann Support. There's also a UK group.

If his issue is due to an enlarged tongue, you could try the Haberman or Special Needs feeder nipples. I would recommend joining the Facebook group as there are some very experienced parents in the group who will help you a lot.

Amazon is probably your best bet. Some are called haberman feeders, others are called special needs feeders. They're quite expensive, so just get one to see if it works. Other mums use different types of teats, but I don't remember which ones. That's why I suggested the Facebook page.

Hi my daughter has mild BWS and we use the Dr. Browns bottles and sit her up when feeding this seems to help a lot. Stay away from the Playtex bottles since the nipple just made it harder for her to suck from and caused frustration during bottle feelings. Hope this helps you!

We used Mam which are quite readily available online and in some supermarkets/baby shops.
