Does anyone get benefits for their child my son nearly 4 has it just mild but at birth nightmare he was so ill so hard

Hi my daughter is 18 months old she was diagnosed 10 months ago i do get DLA for her but hers isnt mild hers is very noticeable as shes in 5-6yr clothes already and some of them are getting tight i hope this helps as it depends on what needs they need x

It depends on the symptoms rather than the diagnosis.

My daughter used to get the higher DLA as she had severe issues with her blood sugars. She now has been dropped to middle rate since she is a lot better. I would contact your local childrens centre, or Citizens advise as they can help you complete the forms.
