Any hope for reactive tinnitus and distortion or hypercusis to improve or go away after 7 months with it?

I've had my reactive tinnitus for 7 months now. It still reacts to music well lots of music. Classical music is where I noticed the least distortion but pop music I noticed whistling and beeps over it. Been going on like this 7 months now. My dad's voice sounds robotic and so does the tv and my own voice makes reactive tinnitus react at times. I dont know if theres hope for me still but I'm finally able to make an appointment soon starting tomorrow. The coronavirus slowed things down. Today it was so bad at work hearing reactive tinnitus tones over everything that once again I left early. I cant keep turning my hearing aid off during the day to give my ears a rest so the spike dies back down from noise as my dad gets angry that I cant hear him and gets frustrated repeating himself and I'm frustrated cause I wanna hear what's going on around me without my tinnitus competing with everything. I'm worried I'll never be able to watch tv or listen to music again. Fans set it off too. Most people I hear recover and their reactive tinnitus goes away after 3 months but I hear if it's been 6 months its permanent. It's not that things seem too loud or that I get physical ear pain my tinnitus just gets unbearably loud by the end of the day so that's why I turn my hearing aid off for 30 minutes oft and on through out the day. Since this started after some cold virus 7 months ago, I hope my hearing loss isnt preventing my recovery from happening. I had a whistling over noises for a week a few years ago and it went away now it's way worse and hasnt gone away unless I sit in silence then I hear just my tinnitus. I dont know why reactive tinnitus is not going away if my CT scan looked normal and my hearing tests show my hearing loss is the same. I wonder what treatments can be done for me cause they may not let me have wearable white noise generators cause they might think I cant hear them if I have severe hearing loss. I feel well screwed. People with reactive tinnitus how do you keep busy when your tinnitus competes with everything? Can it take a year or more for distortions and reactive tinnitus to go away or improve ? I read a few who still have these horrible distortions and reactive tinnitus years later and they say they dont listen to music at any volume anymore and I'm terrified this might become me.
