Tinnitus (ringing in ears) with serious cognitive impairment

Hi everyone, I have been suffering from moderate tinnitus for more than ten years but from the very beginning my tinnitus didn't bother me at all. What is really ruining my life is cognitive impairment at the level of dementia (difficulty thinking, speaking, analyzing). I have been checked for many disorders but all of the tests and examinations came back negative. I just wanted to know if somebody else suffering from tinnitus also has serious cognitive issues (difficulty thinking, speaking, deterioration of short-term memory)?
