Does anyone out there have AIH/PBC overlap syndrome and if so is anyone managing to stay in remission without Azathioprine?

My LFTs are steady and "normal" if that's what you call remission. I couldn't take Aza so have managed on Pred (down to 5mg for last few years.) I also take Ursofalk for the PBC.

That's great news. As far as I know remission is level LFT's indicating no inflammation. Will be coming off my steroids in a couple of weeks and remaining on Azathioprine (100mg). How is your white blood count? Mine are a bit low and had to reduce Aza. X

Hi Jt, My white cell count is a bit low but my platelet count is worse. Nobody seems worried about it and I had forgotten until I looked it up to answer you!! I do bleed easily and my skin is very thin (due to taking Pred. for so long ?) so I have lots of scars from torn skin
