I have been told they are beneficial for some, myself included. You must be monitored by your Hepatologist/gastroenterologist/immunologist at all times. I have been on a waiting list to see the immunologist for 2 years! I have tried going privately but they are reluctant to prescribe and referred me back to my care team. Do not buy them on the internet, they are not safe. I suppose you could pay for a private consult with an immunologist as they have the yay or nay decision for your injections.
