Eczema

Morning, husband has cirrhosis, seem to be doing ok, but he has suddenly started with quite bad eczema. Anyone else found this please? 🤔

Hi Ericabear yes never had eczema before but roughly 18 months ago I started to get small spots of it very itchy then very sore when you scratch, so annoying. E45 cream is the thing that helps me, takes away the itching. I hope this helps because it’s so uncomfortable 🙏.

Thanks Dave, we are now under dermatology to help as it has come on quickly and widespread, I was just wondering if this is part of the Cirrhosis journey too or maybe a side effect from some of the meds. Thanks for the reply and good luck, Liz x

Hi Liz not sure as I have had cirrhosis for 20 years had transplant 23 March this year and have had no more spots come 🤷🏻‍♂️, I will leave it for you to decide.
