Hi partner has been doing really well - bloods mostly just back within normal range and has recently been told he is recompensated. He's picked up a pretty nasty bug and has a fever of about 39. When should we worry, do I just leave it to run its course of should we be talking to someone? He is still under the care of a transplant nurse, would it be best to get her advice? Thanks

I have just realised maybe I am not allowed to ask for medical advice. Am so sorry if I have broken the rules just that its late and I wont be able to get hold of anyone
Ring NHS24 on 111 as having an infection could 'potentially' destabilize his currently compensated liver. Don't know what they'll suggest but that's probably safest idea.
Hope he's ok.
