Newly assessed NAFLD

About Feb last year started having abdominal pain under right ribs. It gradually increased and lasted for about 4 months, and then subsided over less than a month. About 6 weeks after onset, got a GP consultation, and started tests:

H Pylori breath test - negative

Sigmoidoscopy + biopsies - negative

Gallbladder US - nothing seen

By end of tests ( early aug ) the pain was on the wane, and disappeared for 7 months.

When it came back in march '23 was slightly different, in that the pain is on a much shorter cycle of maybe 1 week discomfort, and 2 weeks nothing, or maybe 2 weeks discomfort and 3 days ok.

GP appt made and bloods taken another US scan booked but more generally of abdomen

Results say some indication of FLD but bloods were all ok, apart from lipids but was non fasting.

I intend to ask for a fasting lipids test when have phone consultation as the results given over phone by receptionist was simply " some signs of FLD & your cholesterol is somewhat high "

I hardly drink alcohol on a regular basis. High days and holidays type thing

I followed Slimming World for 10 years ( 6years at target - 10st 10lbs) , but after CV19 stopped going and have put some weight back on ( 12st 9lbs) which was my adult life weight before I did SW

My question is, do my symptoms sound typical of FLD ?

Thank you in advance 😁
