Hi

I had the same issue – lost nearly half my body weight, which regardless of liver issues is not a healthy state.

The liver diet team helped me enormously with putting a plan together. The basics were

Eat little and often avoiding huge/large one off meals. I was having maybe 8 meals/snacks a day.

Eat lots of non-fatty protein (although in the beginning they just wanted me to bulk up), fish, chicken etc.

I was on 4 protein shakes and 4 energy shakes a day. easy source of protein and in the early days they were my only chance to hit the very high protein intake requirements that they set me.

Keep away from processed foods, take aways/ready meals.

Eat a balanced diet like a “normal person”– fruit/fiber etc.

Fuel the body before bed with a slow-release food – I had porridge lol

Take creon pills to aid digestion and make use of the food I was now eating.

No fizzy sweet drinks – water was my friend.

No alcohol of any type.

Those basics were my starting point, but you should be able to get good advice based on your own personal circumstance from your liver team/doctor. Ask them for help.

Good luck and happy eating
