fatigue

hi guys, has anyone been given anything to help with the fatigue caused by pbc? Thanks

Hi, I have PBC which has now developed into Cirrhosis and I fall asleep every afternoon. Exhausted every day, I do not think that there is any treatment for it. If you need to rest and sleep then do so, I try to do things around it and if I feel fatigued I stop, things can wait. Hope this helps.

liver consult and my Gp doctor day drink plenty water and do regular exercises bless good luck I go swimming and test regular as retired I have afternoons nap 🌸

Spoons theory helps me.

I try to pace myself. I use energy doing things I want to do in the morning and try to find low maintenance ways of keeping on top of chores. I nap most afternoons.

It can be frustrating, especially when energetic friends can keep going for ever and I can’t. But you do learn to prioritise and relax into the naps.
