I had diagnosis of HCC 3 days before Christmas.. I'm trying to stay positive but being in the UK the current health system is what it is . I am so worried . I have fought a non-alcoholic liver disease for over 4 years and was doing very well. Can anybody that has gone through this share their experience (good or not so good ). I am now under the care of Birmingham QE.
Thanks in advance

You will get a treatment plan (if you haven’t already). I’ve had radiotherapy ablation and TACE (chemo) I’m now on the list for transplant at Birmingham. The diagnosis was a massive shock to me and took a long time to come to terms with but now I can’t wait for transplant so I can start getting back on with my life without worrying about the cancer. I’m having treatments locally and regular scans and this doesn’t seem to have been affected by the crisis in healthcare. Birmingham have an excellent reputation for transplant.
