Hello, roughly 10.5 months since my first fibroscan, I've reduced alcohol consumption by 25% (I keep detailed logs of consumption in grams of ethanol), I've bumped my average steps per day from ~7,000 to ~8,000 (logged by apple watch). My diet has basically stayed the same, I've potentially been eating a bit better starting ~5 months ago with regular salads for lunch 3-4 times per week and making a point to avoid added sugar at almost all costs, minus the seldom chocolate here and there. My weight has remained roughly the same. What gives? I'm happy my kpa has gone down, but it was already in "normal" territory, my CAP score is now pretty high from what I understand. Please let me know if anything like this has happened to you, or you otherwise have any input to share with me. I really appreciate it.
New Fibroscan Results: Hello, roughly 1... - British Liver Trust
New Fibroscan Results
Are you overweight? Your weights stayed the same maybe your still carrying some weight that is reflecting on your liver, the liver HATES carbs im a big offender of carbs sometimes their the only thing I can eat during the day… so maybe reduce the carbs???? Also your 25 percent and my 25 percent could be very different. As in I have maybe 1-3 drinks per month if that sometimes none my 25 percent with that would be 0 or negative 3 Maybe the alcohol use isn’t helping. When our livers are struggling alcohol can fuel the fire
What was your KPA? fatty infiltration?
Test results vary according to both the individual’s whole health and the laboratory analysing the results and should always be interpreted by the user’s own health care professionals. Hello, he best option for liver health is to avoid alcohol completely. Titration of alcohol doses does not reduce damage to an already damaged liver.
