I started having right upper quadrant pain in early 2019. I went to my GP who told me to have a blood sample taken that found slightly elevated Billirubin. I got an improvised ultrasound at the same time that hinted at fat deposits in my liver - that wasn't done thoroughly, it was actually just a test of the device where i was picked as a random specimen. The RUQ got better over the summer, had another blood sample taken in 2020 that was also mostly within the normal ranges. In the following years, i had RUQ mostly during the winters, it always got better in the summer. In early march, i got infected with the Coronavirus and had a blood sample taken again after beeing short of breath for quite some time. This blood same found a GPT of 72 (should be under 50) and urea in the blood lower than the recommended levels. I'm not taking drinking any alcohol, an uncle of mine also has fatty liver but no further problems, my father was found to have an increased liver years ago but both had no further issues. I have a mostly healthy diet that shouldn't have too many carbohydrates and am on the lower range of normal weight.
What could be the reason for these issues and what should i look to get done? I'll ask for an ultrasound next time i get to my GP, but even this seems not that easily available.

I would suggest you get a private ultrasound to get a quicker response and before you get worse (if you are, in fact, in any kind of trouble, your post doesn't sound like any kind of crisis). So I would go private to calm myself.
You may be able to receive some guidance by giving our liver nurse helpline a call. The number is: 0800 652 7330 and is open from 10am-3pm Monday to Friday (except bank holidays).

(I'm putting this subquestion here) I was able to get an ultrasound on a rather short notice due to a bit of luck after returning to my GP with stinging side pain . It found fatty liver and an increased spleen size. There's just a bit in the results that i don't fully understand: "Narrow hypoechoic formations next to the gallbladder wall in segment IV b, corresponding to areas of focal non-steatosis." and in the results section refering to this: "Focal non-steatosis zones at a typical location in segment IVb." What does this exactly mean?
