What a mixed day I have a phone call appointment with the consultant about some issues with my liver. I need to grab some copper tube to install a first fix for a shower and try to find a cricket ball for my nephew. Beat that as well....😂😂.
Just me as you know, thought the forum needed a little light enthusiasm for a Monday morning......

What’s that said stomach. It’s porridge and fruit said brain. No I know that, it’s that little sachet next to it that I’m interested in. The pot of pills look familiar, but that sachet, well I haven’t seen that before. Smooth liver piped up and started to do a speech about PeppaPig. What’s smooth liver on about said heart. In particular, rabbit and mole. I think smooth liver may be struggling a bit said jealous heart. No said brain, he’s practicing his election speech to become Prime Minister. Oh I see said jealous heart, I wondered why he kept throwing parties and was dancing to the Circadian Rhythm blues. It wasn’t a party, said brain, it was a working event! Well I’m still struggling with that sachet said stomach. Hmm said brain. Let’s see what it says, Movicol. Not sure, let me look it up. Ahh, said brain I see now. It’s to help smooth liver with his speeches. What do you mean said stomach. Well it’s a laxative said brain. It speeds the process up a bit and helps smooth liver develop the best Prime Ministerial utterances. Ok said jealous heart I get it now, smooth liver is going to make a great Prime Minister. With that a dollop of porridge came down esophagus and hit stomach with a shudder. Better get to work smooth liver, said brain, we’ve a country to run.

No way.... full respect, saying that I've just been told to bring some pyjamas n toothbrush in case and be ready for a long day tomorrow. It's my normal appointment but looks like I'm having some scans done and waiting around for bloods to come back. I've just been told my ALT's are high and my bilirubin is 38 🤫. All in the red. It's ok to wait until tomorrow, so it can't be all bad.Good luck Ubwa.... you don't really need it. I meant with the traffic 😂😂 x
I spent 4 times longer in traffic than at the hospital 😒

Weel, went in, straight to US, then to appointment which went"

"I am fine thanks, knees still stuffed but hopefully getting appointment on Monday when the bone carpenter can do his work- Here are my blood results from GP from 31st"
Doctor looks at them, pulls up US report then says
"Bloods good,m US good, see you in 6 months, please can you pass the vampire on the way out for some bloods so we have them on our system*"
"Ok, thanks, bye"
And that was it 
* I cannot fathom why NHS trusts cannot share a common IT system, in 2022. This is such a solvable problem. Shows just how wasteful/corrupt/useless admin functions of the NHS are.

I didn’t take a picture but I felt sorry for myself and had a stonking big steak for dinner as a reward for the shortest checkup ever😅
As a treat or a sulk😇? Do you know what... I've not had a steak in age's. We (the family) are going to an Italian restaurant for my dad's birthday (I had to preorder) and I might just change the order to a steak. Thanks bananarama.... I have to wait for blood results before any decisions on scans but the consultant is very blase (in and out) he doesn't seem concerned at all. Unlike the consultant over the phone. 🤞 for home. 😃
