MRCP

Anyone here had an MRCP before? I saw my consultant on Wednesday last week and already have letter in the post, my MRCP is Wednesday 8th Sept! That's quicker than expected! Bit worried why it's been done so quick.

Nothing to worry, it appears your consultant is good and wants to help get to bottom of this to put you at ease.

Yes I haven't seen this one before, can't remember his name but he is fantastic.. said he will do a HIDA scan if MRCP is clear, if that is clear he will try me on Creon to see if it helps. Thanks for the reply Carefull1.

As careful says, nothing to worry about. Its just an MRI scan that generally looks at the liver how the bile ducts in and around the liver look.

Finally had appointment through for April 16th assuming to discuss results.. feeling nervous
