I have been told I have cirrhosis of the liver due to autoimmune hepatitis and am experiencing a lot of discomfort with leg pains. Are there any remedies that may help me to return to work?

Cirrhosis and leg pains
Have you had your magnesium levels checked recently? A deficiency of that can cause issues with joint and leg pains in AIH. My hubby (Cirrhosis due to AIH) used to get lots of cramps but he started having a banana a day for potassium and has frequent baths with magnesium bath salts and I know of several people on AIH Facebook page who use various magnesium rubs etc.
Obviously important that you have your levels checked before doing anything with regards to taking extra minerals etc.
If you haven't found the AIH Facebook yet and fancy joining 3000+ other AIH patients for support and to share experiences you'll find it at:- facebook.com/groups/AIHorgUK/
(private group so no one else on your feed sees what's discussed there, group is moderated by fellow AIH patients and supported by some of top UK doctors working in field of AIH research and treatment).

Can I ask how it was diagnosed? If this is no problem. I mean AIH.
