Has anyone had pain in their back from gall bladder problems?

I've had pain under my ribs on the right side on and off for ages, along with some shortness of breath. The GP thinks it's probably gallstones and I've been waiting for an ultrasound since January. Recently I've had quite a lot of pain across my back where my ribs are and it's woken me up at night a few times as I can't lie on my right side. I've put on weight over lockdown and I drink too much, nearly a bottle of wine a night. Does this sound like gallstones or could it be my pancreas or liver? I'm getting anxious now and would really appreciate any advice.

I have gallstones and it feels like that. Mine goes into my right shoulder too.

Thanks for your reply, how were they diagnosed? Does anything help the pain?

After 14 years and missed on two ultrasound they found them when I went in with my liver. In my opinion it’s very much the experience of the person interpreting the scan. My gallstones are not reactive to food!? PainRelief,I don’t because of the liver and I can’t have it out because of portal hypertension.

Hi spook that’s exactly where I get the pain especially at night goes into my shoulder too ultrasound showed gallstones x
