Elf score gone from 8.3 to 9.6 in 5 weeks

Hello All, I'm very concerned. In July 2020 I got unwell with an unusual bug, no temperature, no cough, just dizziness, aches and pains and headache. Had to beg GP for blood test, it showed I was neutropenic (1.3) and white cells were raised (to be expected). It also showed a raised ALT if 58 (should be below 40). Next month, ALT still 58, still neutropenic but white cells normalised. GP ordered liver screening, loads of tests and everything ruled out from hep A, B and C to autoimmune hep etc. So he said non alcoholic fatty liver as I don't drink. He dismissed the infection as a cause. Diet was not terrible, but ate more than I should, rice etc. My ELF was 8.3 and so secondary care and GP both said no need for scan, just better lifestyle with diet. I lost 10kg over three months, massively improved diet, massively and ELF now 9.6 and so scan referral has been made. I took 8.3 on chin and was hopeful I could reverse any damages, now I'm gutted and worried that damage has progressed to 9.6 must be bad! Anyone's thoughts would be welcomed, I'm still neutropenic, had risen to 1.8 but now 1.7 and ALT had dropped to 43 but back at 58 again. Confused, concerned and a bit lost. I'm 33, dad to two small boys, future is a worry. I've always been very healthy, never had any issues, quite fit as well. Scratching head......
