Cystadenoma

I have a private MRI scan booked in 10 days time to look at a cystadenoma, which is now 8cm. I am unsure about how safe from covid this can possibly be, my husband and l are over 70 and vulnerable. It has to be done in the main hospital, as the other scanners in the area are not considered definitive enough. I have phoned the specialists secretary, and am waiting for a reply. I have not seen him, but he assessed my us scan as needing a non urgent follow up at the beginning of December. I chose to go privately as there is no date in sight on the NHS. I really don't know what to do. I researched the cleaning protocol, and it seems very uncertain that it is more than 50 percent effective. My husband has asthma and has had sepsis. The cyst has grown about 3 cm in 2 and a half years.
