I have just tested positive for the corona virus & have NASH compensated cirrhosis does anyone have any advice as I am really worried? I work in a primary school and have been so careful but my husband is a teacher and they have been told NOT to wear masks and a child in his class developed corona a few days ago so I think that is how I have caught it despite all my efforts to stay safe. I have had a fever for two days but it has gone now and I feel like I have the flu and ache all over including the liver area. I also have a headache, a cough especially when lying in bed and a very slight sore throat. I am so worried that this is going to take me into the compensated phase or worse. Any advice for anyone else who has been through this would be really appreciated.
Thanks

Sorry, to hear about your health. I don’t have any advice I’m afraid. Sending you love and best wishes, please stay safe, I hope you feel better soon. Hope.
My situation isn't exactly the same as yours, I had no liver issues until I had Covid-19 and a gallstone blocking the bile duct at the same time. The Dr's have said that I have a liver injury now, prossibly drug induced from the pain relief given at the ERCP. Just to reassure you that my liver has remained compensated for the 5 weeks since though. So hopefully yours will do the same. I also caught covid from a contact at the secondary school that I work at. I hope that you recover quickly and completely.
