Good morning all,

I’ve been suffering from bladder symptoms. I have pain in the lower abdomen, love handles, burning and stinging while passing urine or even when I’m not a constant burning and stinging. I had urine tested as well as swabs taken but there is no infection. This constant pain and burning stinging is killing me. I’m so miserable. Have sleep deprivation and stuck hone as can’t trust myself to go out.

I have autoimmune hepatitis, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar and what have they done to make it better. My doctors don’t have a clue. I have asked them to refer me to a specialist as I can’t carry on like this. As said it been going on for over 2 months at least. Thank you in advance

Hi, sorry to hear of your discomfort. Maybe ask the doctor for kidney function test/ultrasound plus referal to specialist. Be persistent with your request. Hope you can get to the bottom of it soon. Jx

You are right, I’ll be more persistent with them. Due to COVID-19 only getting phone consultations at present but will try to get face to face app.

I am sorry to hear of your discomfort. I do hope you get your referral to the appropriate specialist soon.

I am not sure of any link to Auto Immune Hepatitis, it may be an entirely separate condition/system.
