HBV blood test - LogIU/mL - how to convert to IU/ml?

My blood results show the following:

HBV DNA LogCopy/mL 4.0

HBV DNA LogIU/mL 3.2

Most information online refers to IU/mL, not LogIU/mL or LogCopy/mL.

How do I convert my results to IU/mL?

Good afternoon,

I am afraid no one on this forum can help with this as we are not qualified to do so.

We do ask as well that forum member's please try to avoid the temptation of posting results.

regards

Well, I'm not asking anyone for treatment advice, but for help in converting LogIU/mL unit to IU/mL. It's like "how many centimeters are there in a meter".

Some countries report HBV DNA results primarily in logIU/mL, while some others - in IU/mL.

Anyway, I've figured it out.

LogIU/mL 3.2 is 1585 IU/mL (10^3.2 = 1584.89319...).

As from here:

microbiology.testcatalog.or...

10 to 1,000,000,000 IU/mL (1.00 log to 9.00 log IU/mL).

So:

IU/mL | logIU/mL

10 | 1 (10^1)

100 | 2 (10^2)

1,000 | 3 (10^3)

10,000 | 4 (10^4)

100,000 | 5 (10^5)

1,000,000 | 6 (10^6)

10,000,000 | 7 (10^7)

100,000,000 | 8 (10^8)

1,000,000,000 | 9 (10^9)

Perhaps you should take on the maths problems set by the schools to overstretched parents trying to home school ....

577t78yt3t7ui8ht x ( 8754r5yygt ÷ 567tr3tt77i87543) + 6786445ttyy6y7774r3 - pye456432 - the number you 1st thought of in 1962 !!!
