Haven’t been on since my post was removed I’m a new person here but haven’t felt like coming in to say Hi hope your all keeping well and I may just as well leave this forum not had that much communication with anyone 😑
Hi : Haven’t been on since my post was... - British Liver Trust
Hi
Hey wilma
How ya doin?
Most posts get a couple answers but sometimes people just wont relate to a post as they not have any dealings with it before or at mo i think most people are just encased in there own lives and troubles because of covid....
If u write ur problem down people will answer.
Hi anyway
✋🏻✋🏻✋🏻
Hello 👋
I’m ok 🙂 I may stick around see what’s happening
Thanks for the reply hope your keeping well 💓
Hi Wilma.
What post was removed? When, please? Sometimes you think you post but the system doesn’t pick it up....a few people have had that lately for one reason or another.
Lulububs is right - it does so depend on the question and whether people on here can relate to it..
Maybe try again? Please do!

Just over a week ago I can’t say really as I will lend up getting another email from admin it was in a reply to jo jo post she added I just replied but it apparently was wrong 🤷♀️
Hope your keeping well 🌸
Ah OK Wilma - trouble is that post did cause a lot of friction so Admin decided in the end to delete the whole post.
Hi Wilma
Just to reiterated what lulububs said as not everyone can reach out all the time but generally someone will and support is never far away...
... and to add that I can still see your previous posts including the replies you received.
Anyway, I hope things aren't too rough for you and your weekend goes well enough during these challenging times.
Warm wishes
Chris
Hi
My post was removed by admin I got a email saying just that
But thank you for the reply
Hope you are keeping well and safe 💓
Hi Wilma,
I'm sorry you haven't had a good start here, but stick around, we really are a friendly bunch, and you will always find support here.
The contentious post was deleted in its entirety, with all the replies as well, so there was nothing personal about it.
So please, just ask away when you want support and advice, and you will get a reply from someone here with the knowledge and experience to offer help.
Our forum has been a Godsend to all of us here, when we were worried and frightened, and needed reassurance.
Take Care, and Stay Safe,
David
Hi Wilma,
I read your previous posts and could see nothing in them to upset anyone. So please don't feel you are wasting your time here. I have discovered in the year since I was diagnosed that liver disease affects people in so may different ways that you could almost say that no two people have exactly the same symptoms. But you will surely come across at least one person who says "oh yes, I had that particular pain/reaction/advice and this is what happened." Plus, the various links that the admin people have provided are invaluable for explaining things.
One really good piece of advice is always to write down any questions you have before you see your GP/consultant and if poss, write down the answers, or better still, take a pal with you to scribble while you talk.
Hi Wilma, I’m Maggie nice to meet you.
Reading between the lines, you’ve not had a positive start on this forum. That is sad, because, I’ve found it a Godsend in my time of need pre liver Transplant.
I haven’t interacted so much in the past 22 months. However, at this challenging time, coupled with too much time on my hands , I find myself here almost daily.
I am a member of my local liver support group in Belfast and between both RVH & BLT forums I feel that I can identify and empathise with most members.
I would love you to remain and contribute to the forum there is always someone who can provide words of ‘wisdom’ general advice and a bita craic- BUT DEFINITELY NOT MEDICAL ADVICE.
This is a challenging time for the world and on top of that we liver patient's have our added stresses and concerns.
Please keep visiting, this is a lonely time for all of us. Take care, be safe and good to talk to you.
Love Maggie❤️
Hi Wilma. I'm a bit confused by your comment about not having much communication, as l notice your 1st post recieved 38 replies ?
It was my last post that I was on about
Ah the 1 last week regarding blood tests? You recieved 3 useful replies l thought. If people don't have an answer to queries, its probably not necessary to reply. But there are a lot of transplantees here and people requiring blood tests during the corona lockdown who have explained on various posts how it is being carried out.
Best of luck
Laura
Such as it is disappointing after one puts a little effort into a thread no matter if it had anything or nothing to do with the original title or subject matter.
It's all must be deleted for said content in it, content said, too much said, enough said. 🤔
I for one am happy enough, whilst I did not even comment my name came up on a totally different rant to the subject title.
😭
Hi Wilma,
I hope you will stay. There are a few of us you can safely ignore lol, it will be up to you to suss them out! 🙄
Otherwise try not to get too bent over it when a post gets deleted, there were some bad eggs on here but they've left for now. ☺️
Hi Wilma62
Now I don’t know if you are as tech wise as me which is so easy you only have to be a reasonable 3year old and your better than me 😂 .
But I have lost posts probably because I didn’t do it right but just recently the site took me right off so I had to go back into App Store and reinstall, I thought it was something I wrote but my daughter came on FaceTime and sorted it.
So nice to hear from new people I hope your doing alright with all this going on 😃

Hi Wilma
I have found so much support on here and endless patience with my questions. I don’t feel at all qualified to answer questions about liver disease being a newbie at it.
It does sound like you have had one bad experience? Please donate let it put you off there are some wonderful lovely people on here
