It is the second time in four months that I have had problems getting my prescription of Myfortic 360. The chemist has had to call around different suppliers and each time has got me 2 x 180. That’s fine but it’s still crazy and a little worrying. The makers are Novartis, one of the biggest drug suppliers and based in Switzerland. I always thought the Swiss were extra efficient!
I’m in France but I know there are problems in the U.K. for certain drugs. Has anyone else had a problem getting their immunosuppresseurs?

Hi Isabelle. I haven't had any trouble with Immunosuppressants, but Ranitidine tablets that I have been prescribed by my transplant specialists have just been taken off the shelves over a health scare. Also today my wife has been trying to chase a supply of her HRT tablets and failed after phoning 15 different pharmacies and because her GP's pharmacy couldn't locate any.
Gp's pharmacy are now trying to order in an alternative that is not quite the same dosage and hoping that it will suit my wife. They said if it does suit her then they will order in a supply for her just in case they get supply problems with that one too.
The shortage of the HRT tablets is nothing to do with Brexit by the way, it is to do with manufacturing problems in the country of origin.
