Fibroscan results

My partner has been sober for 1 year he had a fibroscan of 14.6, two years ago today his result is 10.4 he's a bit disappointed but I see it as a positive, can people share before and afters so he can gauge how well he's doing 😊?

May I just clarify please, when you mean sober, do you mean total alcohol abstinence, or just not been drunk?

I had a fibroscan the first 1 was 75.0 the maximum the second one was 70.0 fibroscans can change every time it could be he ate something different or if you smoke and have a cigarette before your scan can change it .his scores are brilliant he should be so proud of himself if I'd of had them scores I'd be celebrating x

Thank you I think he is being hard on himself, it's a massive achievement and it's better after a year x he does smoke so it could have effected it x

If he smokes then that bad for a already damaged liver. Smoking worsens liver disease. He must try n quit. It's a toxin just like alcohol

Hi the scores are going in the right direction. Mine came from nearly 13kpa down to 4.6 kpa. It's a time and patience thing. Best of luck
