A reading of 59 is a mild elevation. In the US 3 - 60 IU/I is classed as normal at least with some labs. One likely possibility (among other less likely ones) is fatty liver (NAFLD) based on the quote below from hepatologist Melissa Palmer's book. Given that it was only mildly raised and if it's the only blood value that was raised it may be best just to keep an eye on it. If other values were also raised then further investigation would be needed.
Dr. Melissa Palmer's Guide To Hepatitis and Liver Disease:
"In NAFLD, the GGTP level is often elevated, and the degree of elevation has been found by some investigators to correlate with the extent of fat deposits in the liver. It should be noted that NAFLD is the most common cause of liver enzyme elevation among adults in the United States."
