I have been pretty worried about sudden pain in my upper right side and back behind bottom ribs that is sore to the touch and feels better in the morning but increases as the day goes on. I am also very gassy. This has been going on for a month. There are no other symptoms.
I have been a heavy drinker for many years. This happened after a weekend of heavy drinking. I have since stopped drinking alcohol and have been excercising, eating healthy and have managed to lose some weight.
The pain has subsided but still is sore if I press on the right side.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The best advice would be to go and see your doctor. None of us are qualified to say what something might or might not be whereas your doctor can do a physical exam, take blood tests and order scans and they are the only ones who can diagnose potential problems.
