Oh i can well believe it ! Have you met dr perera yet ? He's one of the best transplant surgeons at QE. They have a separate block near the hospital in the grounds where you can stay x
I had my Transplant there 8 weeks ago a fantastic hospital, they do have places for you to go during the day, getting a space in the residential wing can be difficult especially at the weekend and out of hours because the booking is not manned.
My wife found a really nice bed and breakfast nearby which I can supply details, be warned there are many places to stay on Hagley Road quite a lot are not good!
Hi Donna. My Hubble had his transplant there start of April. Everyone we came across were fab. You can stay in Nuffield House on site. The transplant co-ordinator will arrange it for you when you arrive if you ask. It's £30 per night for 1 and £40 for 2 persons. I also stayed in Travelodge Broadway Plaza about 2 miles away which was fine. Hope everything goes well for you both x
There was no room at Nuffield house for us and even though our son was only 16 there was nowhere for us to stay and we ended up sleeping on chairs in the waiting room! Not ideal but we coped and are out the other side now!
