Fibroscan results - is IQR 0.7 kpa a sign of unreliability?

Hi,

I did a fibroscan yesterday and got these results: median stiffness 3.8 kpa, IQR 0.7 kpa and iqr/med 18%, valid measures 6 and success rate 86%.

I've read that for an accurate reading the IQR should be less than 0.7 kpa. Is that correct or does it depend more on the stiffness in general?

Thanks!

You normally want 10 scans and a 100% success rate. Still, even where you're at is good. When I had my firbroscan, the tech was awesome, she took 10 scans about 6 times. Every time they balanced out around 4-4.7kpa. It's a very good sign to have been at a 3.8, I doubt you're in trouble with those scans.
