Weekly ascites drain

I’m being drained weekly now which I guess is an indicator that my liver performance has got worse

How long can I continue like this?

I was on weekly and twice weekly drains for about six months and it just calmed down I didn't need them so often I had my transplant about 3 months after my last drain

I’m considering an alpha pump so that I can continue my conditioning training in an effort to pass the CPEX test

Spirolactone just raises my potassium so I just can’t take it!

The most common phrase used about me is I’m too complicated !! 😂

Lol I was told exactly the same thing I was a complicated case I got one thing resolved and another popped it's head up... But I am on the other side 😁 I just like to think I made the consultants earn their pay hahaha I have heard of a few having the pump fitted they wouldn't do with me as I was losing too much weight and muscle

You certainly do it's one thing you have complete control over 😂

Having s sense of humour keeps us sane!!!! My husband said that's what you think!!, Pure cheek!! We have got to keep smiling though even though some days I just burst into tears ! Hope you are all as well as can be. Lots of love and hugs to you all xxxx
