So my scan showed hepatic steatosis. Not sure if I spelled it correctly. It also showed a nodule on my left lung. I saw the report posted on the patient portal but haven't heard from my doctor yet.

Hi Lara,
Have you heard back from your doctor yet? I hope there isn't anything untoward being uncovered for you and if there is they are able to action it quickly. Please try not to stress until you have some proper information.
hi I am so glad you got a ct scan. ive been begging drs here to do another one on me to confirm all the things they found on one I had in 2007 but its an ongoing battle. they ultrasound me and find a few things then they mri and find a new thing and do another ultrasound still not see everything. I had a ct scan lit up in 2007 they found a calcified abdomen wall where my gallbladder used to be, a stone in my pancreatic duct, and inflammation in my stomach as well as 3 nodules on my left lung. all the other image tests they have done since don't show any of this as well. they don't even show the nodules on them. I need another ct going again today to gastro to beg again as I cant be sedated for any endoscopes and I guess my brain wont go under and I get very combative. but I am so glad you got one done. I think it shows everything the best. they say always wait at least 2 weeks to a month to get back in to drs after image tests for the results but I never wait. I call the day after the test to book as I know its will be while to get a date.i never wait for the drs to call me for the results as ive actually had doctors never call back to even go over anything with you. anyway constantly stay on top of the drs and push for all the tests and give him every bit of information relating to your symptons and make them take the time to listen. goodluck and take great care
