Dear Marnio

There could be many reasons for this so we would recommend that you go to your GP for advice.

Best wishes

Have they checked your platelet count? I have ITP and it can cause heavy periods.

Ask for a CBC Complete blood count. Your platelet count will be in there. I run from 8000-55000 which is low but I'm used to it. Normal is 150,000-450,000.

Get them to check your haemoglobin (Hb) and vitamin b12 levels as well to rule out anaemia.
