Well here I am bk for a stay in hospital where the food is crap but the drugs are good.

I was admitted last Fri with lower bum pain & swollen nodes.They came to the conclusion that I have caught sepsis a few weeks ago due to flu & it's knocked my kidneys making them leaky.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery x. I was always in and out with kidney problems, but they always got me back on track

Hi Antonia, it sounds like you have dodged a bullet with the sepsis. That can make you very dead, very quickly. I have spent some quality ITU time with that, and would say to anyone feeling generally unwell with flu like symptoms to get seen pronto. I'm sure they will sort out your renal function, and get you back on track fairly quickly

Can't agree on the hospital food however, I always enjoy it

hope you are feeling better now i was wondering where you was missed your little scouse humour ,i went for me ultrasound yesterday ,by god did that nurse dig in with that probe ,then she said take a deep breath but didnt tell me to breathe out ,i was turning blue though i suppose its betterthan yellow like i was .anyway dude stay strong you have been through the mill but god is good as my dad always used that term .hopeits a speedy recovery x
