saw consultant saturday def pcb for which i have started tabs urso,also cream for itching , has precribed cholestrymine for itching any advice peeps,daid ulra sound ok and dext scan ok will get letters i post meanwhile gp dishing the abowve ,i also have copd , rheumatiod and osteo, and hypothyroids , any advice helpfull off on me hols sat

I am just wondering if you have been tested for Alpha 1 antitrypsin deficency.

The reason I ask is that it causes liver problems and COPD. These are the official findings, but my husband has this and also suffers with joint problems. Just wondering if it is worth getting tested just in case.

ooh interesting ,they phoned yesterday and said my dext scan was ok ,they have done 2 lots of loads of bloods ,nt sure what for but havent mentionted that ,ill ask. ihave been started on cholesrymine today to ease the itch which started a year ago in the neck ty for that ill get on to it my rheumy might do that for me xxx
