I would suggest you discuss this matter with a consultant who has adequate experience in this field.

There are 'normal' ranges for blood test results, it depends which result(s) you are referring to. For example the liver function test has between 2 and 5 different results (depending on the lab) and a full blood count has around 12 different 'cell' counts. Which blood tests do they take for PBC?

There is a set of blood tests grouped together in what they call the 'Bone profile' - is it that? This is usually blood levels of a) calcium; b) albumin; d) alkaline phosphatase ALP

The 'bone profile' blood test measures proteins, minerals and enzymes involved in bone health.

Results of all blood tests include the unit of measurement, so a figure of 24 is meaningless without both the name of the thing it was testing and the unit of measurement . Normal ranges vary among different laboratories For example normal ranges of calcium in the blood are 8.5 to 10.5 mg/dL in some laboratory results, but some laboratories show this as 2.2 to 2.7 mmol/L. To answer your question you need to tell us what the thing in your blood was that was measured, and then we might be able to answer.

As PBC is a problem with the liver, people usually have a liver function blood test. This measures levels of ALT, ALP, Albumin and Bilirubin.

If your bilirubin was measured in umol/L then the normal range is 0-20. But sometimes its measured in mumol/L As PBC is a progressive disease of the bile ducts I would expect bilirubin to be out of range if you have had PBC for a long time - how long have you had it?. Has it been in normal range up until this test? Its common for alkaline phosphatase (ALP) another liver function marker, to be high as well. Has your doctor explained to you what PBC (Primary Biliary Cirrhosis) is, how it is diagnosed and how it is treated?
