If you want to PM me with your email address I can send you an e-mail with a copy of the liver disease diet leaflet we were provided with by a dietician at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. It provides a guide for carbohydrate and protein diet and my hubby has gained weight since starting on it in June. Other members of this forum have received copies and all seem to find it useful and easy to follow.

You can also buy protein bars from healthfood shops like Holland and Barratt - you just have to try different flavours till you find one you like
