Over the last year was told that it was IBS and then I had a ultrasound 6 months ago and although I knew I had a nodular liver it did not throw any light on the slight pain which I endured, it was a dull ache and it is one of the type where you want to keep massaging the side, anyhow saw a new doctor who immediately arranged another ultrasound and that is when I was told that a nodule is pressing on gallbladder hence the pain I presume. Due for another test this week to find out a bit more. Wonder if anyone has had similar experience of this pain and wonder if they take the gallbladder away. Love to hear from you

I've had pain like this. Unfortunately in my case there was nothing to be done (I was already on the transplant list). I'm not 100% sure what they'll recommend.
