What would you like Santa to put in your stocking?

Just three weeks until Christmas, what running stuff would you like Father Christmas to bring? Alternatively, what’s the best running gift you’ve received? Tick as many as you like, maybe Father Christmas is on Bridge to 10k too and will see 😊

Please select all that apply:

I got a massage gun for my birthday in May. My sister had me as her kris kindle about two or three years ago and got me bone conduction earphones. I got a new running watch last week as my strap broke completely on my previous watch which was about 6 years old. I have everything I need for running right now. I suggested some parkrun merchandise to my wife as a Christmas present, but it’s a little bit overpriced and I’d only wear the gear for parkrun so I’ll just stick with my milestone and apricot T-Shirts. I’m lucky, but over the last 7 years I’ve collected a lot of Race T-Shirts, parkrun milestone T-Shirts, base layers, shorts, jackets, gloves etc. I want for nothing other than a sub 25 minute parkrun finish time. 🤣

That's the trouble, we buy all the bits and then what do we ask for?

(a sub 35 minute Parkrun would do me :) )

I’ve got most things I need for running now, but Santa was impressed by the Black Friday parkrun sales so I might just get a base layer for winter and an apricot vest for summer touring.

Just to stay fit and able to run would be the greatest gift though. I think PBs might be out of the question now but no doubt I will keep trying.

I ticked new shoes as my 4 year old winter shoes have virtually no tread 😂But in reality I probably won't bother replacing them as I can manage without them.

New socks would probably be better as I'm always putting my toe through them. 🧦🎅🦌

If you ask nicely Santa might bring you both 🎅🧦👟👟

I’ve got everything I need but would wish for a permanent injury-free body 🙂

I have pretty much everything I need but there’s always room for more running shoes - as long as they’re Hoka!❤️👟✨

I have plenty of shoes (possibly too many).

I got myself a really bright head torch last winter for running on country lanes.

Not interested in magazines.

I got myself a too-fancy watch a little over two years ago. It still works well.

Got bone conducting headphones about four years ago. The originals developed a fault but are still usable if you're not moving about and the warranty replacements are still good.

Waterproof jackets don't work for me (got one and you trap sweat inside).

So it's probably going to be socks… again. 🤣

Ah, the classic Christmas present for the man who has everything 😁 but in your case I'm guessing they'd be toe socks?

Yes, Injinis if possible, though as they last for a good while I do have plenty of ones from previous Christmases.

oh yeah! I did jump the gun and used the reductions in the Black Friday Sales to stock up with two additional pocket leggings! (In the pic on the rower)
