Is party-season any excuse not to lace up!? In fact, I can see me having to run more to pay for the mince pies. ๐Ÿ˜

My first year of running - so plan to run Christmas Day even if itโ€™s just round the block! ๐ŸŽ‰ ๐Ÿฅ‚ ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐ŸŽ„ ๐Ÿฅฐ

Boxing Day more likely for me. And something over New Year.

Unknown area for Christmas week but apparently surrounded by footpaths. Just hope it's not too muddy๐Ÿ™„

All things permitting my intention is to run on 22, 24, 27, 29 & 30th...we'll see how that pans out, but that's the rough intention! ๐ŸŽ„ ๐Ÿƒ ๐Ÿฅ‚

Gotta be ready for your next 10k group!! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Defiantly boxing day I'll need to escape by then, probably new years day as well but who knows when else.

Defiantly, it's a normal working week for us nurses so I expect to be running more than celebrating ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

If the weather is dry we will be doing parkrun on Christmas Day with our niece and on New Yearโ€™s Day and will be volunteering on the Saturday in the middle. But will get some runs in when the guests go home.

I started running in April this year and really have caught the bug! More time off work will mean I can do longer runs. Currently I only have time for 5k before work during the week! Iโ€™m so looking forward to running more ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

Hi ju-ju. I'm hoping to run with TailChaser and make the leap to 10k as a Xmas present to myself after graduating from C25k last month.

Did 8.5k last Saturday evening after a 4k morning Santa Scramble so I know I can do it. ๐Ÿ˜ธ

All things being well, Iโ€™ve got lots of miles to catch up on and thereโ€™ll be lots of ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿฅž๐Ÿฅฏ๐Ÿฅฆ๐Ÿ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿฅ”๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿท๐Ÿฅง to burn off, so yes, yes, yes! Just try and stop me (no, please donโ€™t ๐Ÿคญ)!!

Definitely yes. Have really missed running so regularly in the madness that is Christmas in school so can't wait for the holidays and the opportunity for some lovely leisurely daylight runs. May even try for a mini running streak. ๐Ÿ˜Š

While you are all running on Christmas morning, think of us poor souls slaving over a hot altar.....

Definitely! Planning a streak over the next fortnight to make up for being a bit tardy over the past couple of weeks. Also, although I love them dearly, it is the chance to have some time to myself away from the family :)
