Hi thank you all of your replies. Everyone has their own stories but we are all here for the same reason. I just want to get on with life but I am still suffering from severe tiredness and body pain, does anyone else still have that?

I am on tamoxifen and have fatigue and shortness of breath. I think it's due to side effects. I do have back pain but I think that's due to the fact that I was a nurse in the 1980s working in dementia care when manual lifting was the norm. I find the only way to combat the fatigue is to accept you can't do everything as you used to, and pace yourself.

Fatigue is, I understand, a common side effect both of a cancer diagnosis and of treatment. Sadly for a few ( including me) it can last a long time. I found though that other side effects such as joint pain and hot flushes were reduced when I changed the brand of Tamoxifen I take. Worth a try. X
