Sorry I was missing for a while but I was having technical issues on my end. I just had the expanders put in Jan 1/17. Drains are out and the first of the expansion saline has been added. So far so good. As I sit home watching my furbabies play, I am happy to be alive.

Glad you are doing well, I had implants without expander, my drain was taken out before I left hospital.

Think we all have to be thankful for being here after going through BC , and enjoy everyday we have with our families and animals.

So do you mean they put the implants in direct?

Yes I had mastectomy and while out they put implant in, so woke up with boob, and drain came out later that day, and I went home same day.

I wish mine were that fast. I wonder what makes them choose one way over the other? I had the expanders put in same day as mastectomy but they had to come out because of an infection.
