Hi, I had the coil fitted a few weeks ago and I'm now having a light and unpainful period. Is this normal?

Yes this is the only reason my mother went on the mirena coil a few years back, and it worked wonders for her. What used to be awfully heavy, painful, and irregular, became light, painless and manageable.

Okay that's great, thank you! Although it's not turned into a long, heavy one 😂 it's not painful and I've heard this is normal for the first period?
