Has anybody ever experienced pain that just comes out of nowhere that is nothing like your usual ibs pains and lasts for days?
I have lived with this for 4 years and this pain is beyond anything I have experienced and the symptoms are just not my usual. However no doctor seems to take me seriously they just read ibs and assume it's that.
Is this usual for people. Do things just get worse after this amount of time for no apparent reason?
I'd appreciate if anyone has any experience with this. Tha k you all

yes this happened to me. My GP sent me immediately for an abdomen CT which showed perforation. This required hospitalisation and IV antibiotics for 1 week along with fluids only. Unfortunately I had another episode of severe pain a couple of weeks later which needed same hospital treatment again. I wouldn’t be waiting but treating your symptoms urgently. Listen to your body and seek advice ….better safe than sorry.
Thank you. I will keep going until I get some help, as I know something isn't right. You doubt yourself when doctors keep telling you it is your ibs even without scanning you.
