Is there anyone else who got a uti after zoledronic acid infusion or similar.

Perhaps that is just one of the reasons why so many who have had the infusion advise you to drink plenty before and during it - to stop this happening

I wonder that too.

I was told to drink 5 pints of fluid for 3 days after my infusion and I believe that’s possibly why I avoided any of the short term possible side effects.

I think the ROS also recommend drinking plenty of fluids after infusion.

It’s a worry that different medical practitioners have different opinions when there should be best practice in place.

I have heard a number of people who have had infusions recommending it. It certainly seems to help ward off some of the nasty side effects.
