My jaw and neck make a crunching noise that I can hear when opening mouth, chewing, swallowing. Anyone else have these symptoms?

I had a similar problem about 20 years ago. My dentist sent me to another dentist with a sub-specialty called "gnathology" -- the study and treatment of the jaw mechanism. I was definitely helped (in my case the issues were mostly postural) and perhaps such a consultation would help you as well.

Would you explain the treatment please? I know my teeth do meet properly. My bite is off on the lower teeth. Let side lower than right due to a removal of a molar at age 8 causing uneven lower bite. Should have had braces but never done. Orthodontist said too late because Ihave too many implants, crowns, etc. wear night guard though on lower.

Do not know if my bite is causing this recent crunching.

Does the above sound similar as to the cause of your crunching?

This was a long time ago (and I too have a ton of dental work) and it involved some dentistry and some other guidance, mainly postural. I had orthodontia a kid but did not need braces on my teeth again as an adult. And I do wear a night guard. But every situation is different such as the removal of a molar. In my instance my bite was mostly ok but needed some minor work. But all I am suggesting is that you consult a dentist with a sub-specialty in gnathology, the study of how the jaw works, to get some guidance about your specific situation.
