I have terrible muscle pain is this normal. What brand do people take

I have been given Losarten recently for BP it did give me quite severe muscle pains but they seem a little better with time . It is a side effect noted for these tablets. I have a lung condition and even my chest muscles were effected I cannot do two days exercise like walking on the trot and have to admit its not massively changing my blood pressure readings . Fortunately I am older so don't have to work ect. I would ask your practice nurse or GP if you could try something else or like myself persevere with the muscle pain and try something like muscle rub or heat pads to relieve the muscle discomfort.
