Amplodine

Has anybody experienced constipation with amplodine?

I’ve a few symptoms that might be down to Amlodipine and this is one of them. You just have to work through them to make sure it’s Amlodipine and nothing else. Otherwise you might end up changing meds unnecessarily. For this one, visit at a regular time and make sure your diet has all the right things that help. I make sure that bran features in mine and it helps for sure.

I take amlodipine also. I do know I can only take certain generic amlodipine. I have not had constipation as a side effect, but I would give it a few days. Good Luck.

Reply to uk ScorpioI was not sure whether it was Amlodopine which caused my constipation or IBS. But it was suggested by a doctor that I took a probiotic which seem to have done the trick

I had irritable bowel before amlodipine so taking it came as a relief.😊
